The Second Blessing operates as much more than a thrift store and is, in and of itself, a social outreach in Haywood County. The revenue from this beautiful store fuels The Open Door food ministry. It also provides affordable and quality household necessities to its patrons. Its work culture is meaningful and engaging in nature, and its team of paid staff and volunteers have chosen to give their time to its operation out of a genuine desire to help our community. The ideal applicant will have experience in using Ableton Live for automation of multitrack, propresenter and lighting software. This P/T role is expected to take 20-25 hours a week. The Pre-K teacher will exhibit comprehensive knowledge of typical as well as atypical patterns of child development and age appropriate practices. The teacher will create and adapt environments that are safe, nurturing and cater to best practices to meet childcare regulations guidelines. Additionally, Pre-K teachers will use authentic, ongoing assessments of children’s abilities to plan and implement age appropriate activities that are built upon each child’s unique strengths. Pre-K Teachers are expected to foster relationships with families to support children’s development.
