YARNCRAFTERS MINISTRY

You created every part of me, knitting me in my mother's womb. For such handiwork, I praise you. Awesome this great wonder!"  Psalm 139:13-14

The Long’s Chapel Knitting Ministry evolved from a dream and a pile of donated yarn on June 19, 2003. We are pleased that you have chosen to visit us and learn more about the Knitting Ministry at Long's Chapel. This group is a charity knitting group that seeks to serve God's children in need. Our goal is to bring joy and comfort to the recipients and to let them know that someone is praying and thinking of them.

The flowing gifts are created and crafted by hand with love, compassion, and prayer (for all ages):

  • Hats

  • Baby Sweaters

  • Lapghans for Wheel Chairs

  • Blankets

  • Dressed Teddy Bears

  • Chemo Hats

  • Prayer Stoles
