Updated: May 14, 2020

In adherence to guidelines and safety recommendations made by our bishop and governmental officials, Long’s Chapel has determined to suspend in-person worship and campus gatherings (excluding our Child Enrichment Center) until further notice. With the recommendations and regulations changing daily with COVID-19, we feel closing until we know it is safe for you and our community is best.

We will continue to offer our worship services online. To learn more about how to connect with our live streams on Sunday, CLICK HERE.

Our connect card has gone digital. Please fill it out anytime you need to submit prayer requests, get more information about the church, get plugged in, or be connected with us. You may find it HERE.

For those who normally give during our worship service, please consider taking a moment to learn how to give online at There are numerous ways to continue your spiritual stewardship during our closure, including by a simple text message!

While our campus may be closed, the people that are the church are open, alive and vitally serving remotely. • Child Enrichment Center - Childcare centers may remain open and have been encouraged to stay open by our local Department of Health & Human Services to support essential workers. Long’s Chapel has agreed we want our CEC to be a resource to our community. We want to remain faithful to our families and take all necessary precautions while also abiding by governmental recommendations. This is an ever-evolving situation. We will continue to take this very seriously and day-by-day for our CEC.

  • The Hangout - Governor Cooper recently stated that North Carolina’s public schools would close for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. We are hopeful and prayerful we get to resume for the 2020-2021 school year.
