Sunday Services at Long's Chapel

Whether you prefer a traditional, contemporary,  blended, or other worship style, we have a place for you to serve and glorify God.  We hope you will join us for a Sunday Service to see for yourself what we’re about.

We hold three services each Sunday morning:

Contemporary Services at 8:20 & 9:40am

A children's sermon is included in the 8:20 service.  During the 9:40 service, an interpreter for the deaf is provided.  Also, the Venue is open as an alternate worship area, providing a relaxed setting with real time feeds from the Sanctuary.

Traditional Service at 11:00 am

Currently in Worship:

Ghost Whispers: The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit

Pastor Chuck will lead us through a sermon series and study  called Ghost Whispers. This five-week series will conclude on Pentecost Sunday, May 23. We will be talking about the persona and work of the Holy Spirit.  Who is this Holy Spirit and what does He do?  What might happen if we got serious about the Holy Spirit? Things could get out of control! How un-United Methodist is that?

Upcoming in Worship:
June 13 - July 20

The Deity Formerly Known as God

C.S. Lewis once said, “I do not want my image of God; I want God.” Beginning June 6, we will begin to align our broken images of God with the images of God found in the Bible. We will attempt to recapture the spirit of J.B. Phillips’ classic book, Your God is Too Small, when we address the various assumptions we have about God. G.K. Chesterton, the great British wit once said, “It is the fate of God to be everlastingly misunderstood.” Let’s clear up some of those assumptions during our Sunday mornings of worship and study.
