Counseling

Counseling is offered at Long's Chapel.  Dr. Jim Marks (D. Min) offers free individual, marriage, and family counseling on Monday mornings from 9 am to noon.  Dr. Marks, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, has special training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy in association with Emory University.  His compassion and understanding are a hallmark of his therapy.  He works with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, bipolar and personality disorders, as well as with couples and families with individual and relationship problems.  Dr. Marks is an ordained minister and director of the  Life Counseling Center.
