Welcome to Revolution Student Ministry at Long's Chapel UMC.  We want our youth ministry to be the catalyst in preparing our students to live spiritually bold lives in a culture desperately needing to see the difference that living for Christ makes.  The apostle Paul explains that we are in a spiritual battle and calls us all to “watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong!”  We want our youth ministry to ignite students into spiritual revolution.  Our program is intended to be a training and proving ground for the next generation of more fully devoted followers of Christ.

Revolution Student Ministry invites all students in 6th-12th grades to our many ministry opportunities.  We offer something for the first time seeker to the life-long lover of Jesus Christ.  REVOLUTION SUNDAY NIGHTS  are our all youth gathering that meets in The Underground.  This is open to all 6th-12th grade students who are looking for a place to connect with friends, have fun, learn to worship, and engage in faith related discussions that are important to teenagers.  This casual "come as you are" environment includes food, games, and more!  Doors open at 4:30 and everything concludes by 7:30.   THE ENCOUNTER ELEMENT  is our small group ministry for teenagers who want to go deeper in their spiritual journey and encounter God on a whole other level.  Led by experienced adult leaders, the Encounter Element offers weeknight bible studies and a chance to encourage one another through prayer and straightforward discussion.   Groups are formed by gender and age level.  THE WELL is our once a month youth worship night.  Held traditionally on the last Wednesday of each month (please check for exceptions)  The Well invites all youth to a very intimate time of prayer, immersing into worship, contemplative reading of scripture, and the use of arts and creative expression.  No games, no craziness, but a time to seriously be before God.   The Well meets in The Underground beginning 5:45-7:45.   REVOLUTION SUNDAY MORNINGS  are our gatherings to provide our youth with a solid scriptural foundation.  Youth are encouraged to bring their Bibles as they learn how to use them as well as learning the in-depth truths found in scripture in a creative and thought provoking style.  Revolution Sunday Mornings meet during the 9:40 service.
