Profits from the sale of items from the Second Blessing Thrift Shop provide the major funding for providing the supplies & food for The Open Door Kitchen.  Donated items are cleaned & appraised and are either priced and put out on the sales floor or designated for Silent Auction.  Anyone who comes in and demonstrates true need will be provided with free clothing and other items for the home if available.  The thrift shop also regularly sponsors a $5 bag sale, which allows anyone to pay only $5 for clothes that they can put in a large paper grocery bag, no matter how much the items cost.
