Men's Ministries

United Methodist Men declare the centrality of Christ in every man's life.  Men's ministry leads to the spiritual growth of men and effective discipleship as men are called to model the servant leadership of Jesus Christ. This ministry by and for the men of our church is intended to provide an opportunity for the men of Long's Chapel to get "tuned-in" to what God has intended for their lives.  The purpose is to equip, enable, and encourage men to hear God's calling to be spiritual leaders in the home, at church and in our community.

The emphasis of this ministry is on providing opportunities for men to "get connected" with other men and to provide stimulus and accountability as they grow in their walk of faith.

Tuesday Night Group

This group meets in the Wesley Room (behind the Venue) from 6:00 to 7:45 pm for study, prayer, and mutual encouragement as they seek to lead God-powered rather than self-powered lives.

Seek The Treasure

This is not "your Dad's men's group"!  The focus is on issues of marriage, parenting, money, fitness, and health.  This active men's ministry group meets every other Tuesday night in the Venue from 6:45 to 8:15 pm.
